HISTORY
Great Pelean Farm is a grade 11 listed farm house situated very close to the
breath taking south coast of Cornwall. The house itself is believed to date
back to the early 13th century, and the front door has even more history,
believed to date from the 12th century, having been removed from Tywardreath
Abbey when the monks were recalled to France. Set in around four and a half
acres the house is on the edge of a working livestock and arable farm.
Since Andy and Jane Jones moved here in 1998 a lot of restoration work has taken place to both the
house and garden. Much of this was necessary to give the building back its
sense of pride and also to make it water tight again!
